At NearbyKart, our goal is to ensure a smooth and hassle-free shopping and delivery experience for every customer. We encourage you to review our refund policy to understand how we address your concerns.

1. General Refund Policy

       Refunds are available if the issue is reported within 30 Minutes of delivery. Refunds apply to

  • Incorrect, damaged, or defective items.
  • Orders that are incomplete or not delivered as promised.
  • Spoiled or expired products.

2. Category-Specific Guidelines

  • Groceries

    • Refunds are granted for:
      • Damaged, spoiled, or incorrect items.
      • Missing items in the delivery.
    • Claims must be submitted within 30 Minutes of delivery.
    • Refunds are not applicable for opened or partially used grocery items unless the product was defective or expired.
  • Food Delivery

    • Refunds or replacements are available if
      • The food is spoiled or not as per the order.
      • The delivery is significantly delayed, impacting food quality.
    • Issues must be reported within 30 Minutes of delivery.
    • Refunds are not available for partially consumed food items unless the food was spoiled, contaminated, or significantly different from the order.
  • Parcel Delivery

    • Refunds are applicable if:
      • The parcel is lost or damaged during transit.
      • Delivery is not completed within the promised timeframe.
    • Report the issue within 30 Minutes of the scheduled delivery.
  • Pharmacy Delivery

    • Refunds are offered for
      • Incorrect or expired medications.
      • Damaged packaging upon delivery.
    • Opened or tampered medication packages are not refundable due to safety reasons

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, Contact the vendor through NearbyKart platform or reach out to our customer support through the app, or directly react out through the Whats app / Phone +91 9063595928

Provide the following details:

  • Order ID
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or videos as evidence (if applicable).

4. Resolution Process

  • Vendors must respond and approve refund requests within 1 business day.
  • If unresolved, NearbyKart customer support team will review and resolve the case within 3 business days.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

  • Refunds are not available for
    • Issues reported after 30 Minutes of delivery.
    • Change-of-mind cancelations after delivery.
    • Items marked as "non-refundable" or "final sale.

6. Refund Processing / Methods 

Refunds will be processed using one of the following methods:

  • Instant Wallet Credit:
    • The refunded amount will be instantly credited to your NearbyKart wallet.
    • Wallet credits can be used for future purchases across all categories.
  • Special Coupon Code:
    • You may choose to receive a coupon code of equal value.
    • The coupon will be valid for 30 days and can be applied to your next order.
  • Refund to Original Payment Method
    • The refunded amount will be credited back to the payment method used during the transaction (e.g., bank account, credit/debit card, UPI).
    • Processing time: 5-7 business days (depending on the payment provider).
      • NOTE: Delivery or service fees may not be refundable unless the issue is caused by the vendor or NearbyKart.

7. Refund for Used Products

Refunds are not applicable for products that have been used, opened, or tampered with, unless

  • The product was found to be defective upon use.
  • The item delivered was incorrect or expired (for consumables like groceries or pharmacy items).

In such cases, evidence (photos/videos) must be provided when requesting a refund.
